Shannon is a mixed media artist whose work explores the presence of the sacred in our every day lives. She has painted murals in California and New York, facilitated community art projects, and taught art to all ages. Her work has been shown in the US and in Canada. Theatre credits include artistic director of Messenger Theatre Co. in NYC for which she designed puppets and masks.
Her interest in art as a tool for social change led her to create Monkey100, a business which integrates art, activism and commerce. The name was inspired by the story of the 100th monkey, a tale of how critical mass is achieved throughout monkey society.
