Pitchfork sweethearts,
Passion Pit are more than just hype; they're actually worth something musically. Sure, they may not be revolutionary, but hell, doesn't mean they're not damn good. And the live shows show that there are actual
humans behind those blips and beating beats. And what's more, they don't come off as those self-indulgent idiots
MGMT, but rather as self-aware, kind, and excited at the fact that they're playing to people. Every live rendition is success and every audience member can walk home, will
want to walk home and wish that
Passion Pit's music and joy soundtracked their entire lives. And for at least that sweet moment of post-show bliss, it very well might. -D.P.
